PlanRadar introduces new scheduling tool

New scheduling feature designed to support team oversight and contribute towards on-time delivery of construction projects

PlanRadar, the cloud-based digital construction management platform, has introduced a new scheduling tool, designed to ease construction and maintenance challenges, provide clearer task oversight and help meet agreed deadlines.

The new ‘Gantt View’ enhances PlanRadar’s existing platform by visualising the key phases in a project, allowing users to create project schedules to a standard, universally-recognised Gantt model.

PlanRadar says its ‘Gantt View’ stands out from others as it works within the platform’s existing Ticket functionality. According to the company, it allows users to ‘perfectly plan’ the project journey, enabling them to build clear, robust charts from existing task lists, plotting key milestones and highlighting priority actions.

When delays do occur in the schedule, they are highlighted for quick resolution and, as changes to the project plan occur, users can quickly drag & drop items, to update the schedule.

PlanRadar’s scheduling tool can also import schedules from other scheduling software including Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, or Asta Powerproject. Users can then add their PlanRadar Tickets within the Schedule, and modify the phases within PlanRadar as needed.

PlanRadar is a digital, cloud-based, site management tool for documentation and communication in construction projects. It can be used for task management, quality control, maintenance, building inspections, construction documentation, handovers, and more.

Available for use on both desktop or mobile devices it’s supported by iOS and Android smartphones and tablets,, where teams can share digital floor plans or BIM models, communicate, and track any kind of information.
